Index Fossils- Living being's fossils that have survived for a short period of time but that also had a huge geographic expansion. These factors make them easy to date. Index fossils can also give us information related to the absolute age of the rocks they were founded in. example: amonite

Environment Index Fossils- Fossils that allow paleontologists to understand the climate conditions in which the rocks that contain them were formed. example: coral fóssil

Rocks Cycle

Last week we went outside and elaborate our own Rocks Cycle. It took two lessons but it turned out to be perfect!

Planets Talk

Recently a very nice lady came to our school to teach us about planets and the universe! I got to know many interesting things, but most importantly I got to know that I'm interested about the space... Maybe that means something to my future.

Tree Planting School Trip

Last month we've been in Serra de Sintra for a tree planting activity. I learnt a lot about local nature and we all had lots of fun. #Fab

My Nana

This was a project done in art based on Niki de Saint Phalle's Nanas. We had to cut, paint and put together all the parts of the body in order to create a paper doll.

Limerick

This is a poem that I've done for English inspired on Halloween. It had to have the structure of a Limerick (traditional english poem) and it turned out like this.

Island Project

This is an English project were we had to create an island, label it and make an island guide. This one was the best :)

School Trip

Recently we've been to «Parque Natural Sintra-Cascais» on a school trip in Nature Science. We were able to watch the natural beauty here preserved for thousands and thousands of years.
